Water Damage From Upstairs

A home started to notice a strange discolored spot on the ceiling of their first floor. At first they thought it was just a stain. Over a little bit of time they noticed the spot growing larger. The area of ceiling also began to droop a little. They called SERVPRO of Escondido to come take a look. It was water damage from the bathroom upstairs. The leak was coming from a cracked pipe that lead to the bathtub. The bathtub had been leaking over time from upstairs and the first floors ceiling was catching all the water. After the pipe was fixed, we were able to get in there and remove all the wet areas of the walls and insulation to get the ceiling ready for repairs.
